How do I apply?

To begin the application process, submit an application at RFKRentals.com. Each adult occupant must complete an application and pay the non-refundable application fee. Each applicant must submit their pay stubs for our office to verify income. We will not hold homes for anyone without a signed lease or holding agreement and payment.

 

How long is the application process?

We can usually get you approved within 1-5 business days.

 

What are the qualifications?

At a minimum, applicants must meet the following requirements:

· No evictions within the last 12 months

· Verifiable employment income at least 2 times the listed rent

· No pattern of non-payment of rent, breaking leases, evictions, or damaging rentals

To qualify for the minimum security deposit for a home, applicants must meet the following requirements:

· No evictions within the past 5 years

· Verifiable employment income at least 3 times the listed rent

· No pattern of non-payment of rent, breaking leases, evictions, or damaging rentals

All criminal histories will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

If no one applicant's employment income meets the qualifications, the employment incomes of all applicants who have employment income of at least $1,200 per month can be considered together.

Evictions include any filing for possession of real estate, including pending cases.

Applicants may also be rejected for incomplete or incorrect information on the application, failure to provide requested documentation, and/or being rude to leasing staff.

 

Are pets allowed?

Pets are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. A $100 pet fee will be due prior to moving in for each approved pet and rent will be increased $40/month.

 

How much do I need to move in?

All tenants must sign the lease agreement before any tenants may move in. Security deposit, rent, and any pet fees must be paid before moving in, these amounts must be paid by certified funds. Future rent payments may be made online.



What is the security deposit?

The deposit amount is listed for each available home. If you do not qualify for the minimum deposit, we may still be able to get you approved with an increased deposit.

 

How long is the lease term?

There is a 12 month lease, which automatically renews every year. If you need to move before your lease ends, we have an early termination option you may use.

 

How do I pay my rent?

Your rent can be paid online by ACH bank transfer.
